Mohamed Maslooh

Doctor · Developer · Creator

Dr. Mohamed Maslooh is an Egyptian medical intern at Kasr Al-Ainy, Cairo University, who teaches doctors how artificial intelligence works and builds Arabic-first AI tools. He gives AI lectures at the weekly staff round of a pediatric surgery department, made the open-source Lecture Maker plugin for Claude, and explains technology in Arabic to an audience of more than 35 million views.

Medical intern at Kasr Al-Ainy, creator with 35M+ views, and founder of ADAMAX: a company building Arabic-first AI tools. We do not build the models. We build the missing Arabic layer on top of the strongest ones.

A doctor who learned that documentation saves lives, a creator past 35M views, and a founder who builds the tools himself. Three trades meeting in one product.

Three acts, one idea.

It started at Kasr Al-Ainy.

Five years at Cairo University School of Medicine, and now the clinical internship at Kasr Al-Ainy Hospitals. That is where I learned that precise documentation saves lives, and that the tools doctors use deserve to be smarter than pen and paper.

Then I explained tech in simple terms.

I started sharing my passion for technology, smart devices, and AI in plain, simple Arabic. The result: 35M+ views, around 92K followers, and a single video past 7 million. Along the way I found the gap: many talk about tech and AI, but very few actually build it.

So I started building.

We take the strongest AI models in the world and build products on top that understand our language, dialects, and context: from right-to-left layout to pricing that is fair for the region. The first of these products is called Anis.

Lectures

AI from the Ground Up

A short course on what the machine actually is, so the department can judge any AI product put in front of it, not just the one it was shown. Every lecture carries its citations, and the limitations get more time than the capabilities.

Wednesday staff round, Department of Pediatric Surgery

Consultants and professors. Slides in English, delivered in Egyptian Arabic.

  • The Story of AI: Seventy-six years, four eras, and one word that has never once stood still. It generates, it does not retrieve. And you are the failure mode.
  • Why It Makes Things Up: It does not look anything up. Once you know what it does instead, everything else follows. It never says I do not know. Stop asking it to remember, and hand it the source.
  • The AI Race: Not who wins it. What it is already doing to the world, and to us. The end of the world is still up for debate. Rising prices, fake videos and jobs never advertised are already here.

Talk

A practical tour of video editing with AI, built on real demos, with every tool it shows and where to find it.

Doctors with no coding background. Slides in English, delivered in Egyptian Arabic.

  • AI Video Editing: By method rather than by model: when to let AI generate a video, when to let it transform your own footage, and when to have it write the video in code. Generate what may be imagined. Transform what may change. Code what must be exact.

Skills

  • Lecture Maker (A plugin for Claude, v1.1.0): It makes your lecture as one animated HTML file, step by step with you. Open source, installs in Claude, and a portable version works in ChatGPT and Gemini.

Products built between the clinic and the code editor.

  • Anis: Arabic-first dictation: you speak and the text lands at your cursor on Windows and Android, dialects and code-switching included.
  • Warid: An open-source desktop voice-to-text app. The open ancestor that later evolved into Anis.
  • MedGist: A bilingual archive documenting medical AI from 1950 to today, with automated research agents that gather and translate.
  • Triviadox: A trivia platform in Arabic and English that keeps its content accurate with an AI-powered n8n automation pipeline.

I explain technology in plain terms.

And because I build the tools myself, I explain them from the inside, not from the headlines.
